Claire Ferguson was a first team league All-Star for women’s volleyball, joined by her teammate Michelle Torressan who was also named to the All-Star team for the BCCAA provincial tournament. Other women’s volleyball members who were recognized are Alicia Catalano, named to the All-Rookie team for her impressive debut season, and head coach Wayne Desjardins, who was named BCCAA Coach of the Year. The only Blue to pick up an award on the men’s volleyball side was first-year player Dan Caverly, who secured a place on the BCCAA All-Rookie team.
The men and women’s basketball teams each fielded one All-Star. Jess Franz was rewarded with a first-team selection for the women, while Mac Fairbairn was named a second-team All-Star and was named to the All-Star team at the BCCAA provincial tournament.
